Shared Emotions.
Eric Bourse published his first book in 2004 and followed suit with a compilation of his last ten years work of painting, accompanied by his own texts and poems. These very personal pieces are a result of the deep reaching events that have shaped Eric’s life. Nothing is off limits. He draws on experiences from his divorce, his depression, his initial steps into painting when he gave up everything to pursue his passion, his success and subsequent loss and his near death experience. His words and paintings stage his vision of the world, his symbolism and his own philosophy and the text further explains his genesis. Through his work we experience the suffering, wonder, love, loss, death and rebirth that is the endless never ending cycle of life.
